Care
Athletes
Leaking in a long run or under a heavy bar is common in athletes, and it is a reason to ask, not to stop.

What it can look like
Runners, lifters, players and dancers come to us with leaking, pressure or a sense that their middle is not keeping up. We look at how you breathe and brace, how you load, and what the sport asks of you, then build a plan that keeps you training.
Leaking while you run, jump or lift
Heaviness or pressure with load
Breathing and bracing under a bar
Coming back to sport after birth or surgery

Questions about this
Do I have to join a class?
No. Many people come for an evaluation and a plan and nothing more. The classes are there if you want to keep moving with the same people.
Will I need an internal exam?
Only if you want one, and never at a first visit by default. We explain what it is, ask before each step, and stop the moment you say so. Many evaluations are a conversation and a look at how you move.
How long is a visit, and who treats me?
Your first visit is about an hour with a physical therapist, in a private room. Later visits can be shorter. You see the same therapist, and you can ask for a particular one.
