Care
Pelvic pain
Pelvic pain is more common than people say aloud. Here, you set the pace and the questions are yours too.

What it can look like
Pain with sex, with sitting, or in the tailbone, hips or low belly can have many sources, and it often has more than one. We take a long history, look at how you move, and explain what we think is going on before we suggest anything.
Pain with sex or with a pelvic exam
Discomfort with sitting, or around the tailbone
Tightness in the hips, back and low belly
A wish for a woman clinician and a slow first visit

We look at how you move

Questions about this
Will I need an internal exam?
Only if you want one, and never at a first visit by default. We explain what it is, ask before each step, and stop the moment you say so. Many evaluations are a conversation and a look at how you move.
Is anything I say private?
Yes. We keep your records private and share them only as the law allows. You choose how much to tell us, and when.
Will it hurt?
We work within what you can tolerate. Some movements can be uncomfortable. Tell us, and we change what we are doing.
